Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Kittson Central/Lancaster couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Red Lake Falls Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Bearcats' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Kittson Central/Lancaster took Red Lake Falls into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 18-25, 20-25, 25-18, 15-7.

Kaydence White paced Kittson Central/Lancaster's offense, picking up 31 kills. White got some help from Camryn Whitlock and her 25 assists. Afton Lindgren controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Kittson Central/Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Red Lake Falls, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-6-1.
