Basketball Recap: North Valley Gets the Win

North Valley's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 victory over the Bandon Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since January 25th.

North Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bandon, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Valley will square off against Siuslaw at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bandon, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bandon Tigers challenge the Nestucca Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
