Volleyball Recap: Stivers School for the Arts Takes a Loss

Stivers School for the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakota West Firebirds.

Allie Steckman had a dynamite game For Lakota West., getting ten aces and ten assists. Steckman has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Stivers School for the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lakota West, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Stivers School for the Arts will welcome Ponitz Career Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakota West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Chaminade Julienne Catholic on the 23rd.
