Volleyball Recap: Gordo Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gordo extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-9. They came up short against the Oakman Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

As for Oakman, with the victory, they broke their 13-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-23. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 8th (when they won 3-0).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oakman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Annleigh Hagood, who had four aces and one block. That's the most aces Hagood has posted since back in September.

Gordo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Winfield on the 16th. As for Oakman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Carbon Hill on the 16th.
