Volleyball Game Preview: Rapid City Christian Comets vs. Groton Tigers

The Rapid City Christian Comets will square off against the Groton Tigers on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rapid City Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Hill City by a score of 3-1. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Rapid City Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-9, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Groton was able to grind out a solid victory over Britton-Hecla on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.

Groton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Groton's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Rapid City Christian, their win bumped their record up to 26-12.
