Basketball Game Preview: Paxton Bobcats vs. Laurel Hill Hoboes

Paxton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Laurel Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bobcats will take on the Hoboes at 7:00 p.m. Paxton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

It was a proper cat-fight when Paxton took on Central on Friday. The Bobcats walked away with a 62-49 victory over the Jaguars.

It was another big night for Jacob Lowry, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Case Moore, who posted seven points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Laurel Hill ended up a good deal behind Florala on Friday and lost 51-35. The game marked the Hoboes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Paxton's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Laurel Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Everything went Paxton's way against Laurel Hill when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Paxton made off with a 62-39 victory. In that matchup, the Bobcats amassed a halftime lead of 37-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
