Softball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell and Van Nuys squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Bell had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 20-19.

Bell has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Van Nuys, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

Bell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Van Nuys, they will challenge Palisades at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dolphins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.86 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
