After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Bethlehem brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bardstown Tigers a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Eagles/Banshees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by eight runs or more this season.

Bethlehem's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 20-13. As for Bardstown, they moved to 4-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bethlehem will square off against rival Nelson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bardstown is set to face off against their familiar foe Thomas Nelson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
