Volleyball Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cedar Ridge can now relate to. They fell just short of the Marshall Bobcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Ridge and nudges their season record down to 13-9. As for Marshall, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Cedar Ridge will venture away from home to take on Magnet Cove at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marshall, they will welcome Ozark Catholic Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
