Volleyball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Sun Valley Community on Friday, Lighthouse Christian came back down to earth. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Valley Vikings on Tuesday. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Baylee Hagan paced Lighthouse Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Hagan got some help from Kinsie McCoy and her 17 assists. Courtney Gentert controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lighthouse Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Valley, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 14-5.

Lighthouse Christian has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Castleford on the 16th. As for Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Raft River on the 18th.
