Basketball Recap: Chesterfield Takes a Loss

Chesterfield lost against Lee Central back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Rams took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions.

Leading Lee Central to victory were Aaron Montgomery and Sinatra Rembert. Montgomery posted 15 points, while Rembert shot 46% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. That's the most boards Rembert has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Montavius Holmes, who earned six points and seven rebounds.

Chesterfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Chesterfield will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Marlboro County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lee Central, they will head out on the road to square off against McBee at 8:00 p.m. on December 2. This will be the Stallions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
