Basketball Recap: Lake Worth Find Success

The Lake Worth Trojans didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Lake Nona Lions on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 53-48 victory.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xavier Perez, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Brandon Rivera, who posted 13 points.

Lake Worth's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lake Nona, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Lake Worth is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Jupiter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Nona, they will host Lake Buena Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
