Volleyball Recap: Valle Catholic Extends Winning Streak to Four

Valle Catholic had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Valley Vikings 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-20, 25-12.

Lexie Rayoum paced Valle Catholic's offense, picking up 16 kills. Rayoum got some help from Reece Weiler and her 12 assists. Allie Boyet and Payton Naeger kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Valley saw an underclassman step up: freshman Isabella Boyer had 16 digs and one assist.

Valle Catholic's win bumped their record up to 18-3-1. As for Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6-1.

Valle Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Kingston on the 9th. As for Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against West County on the 9th.
