Soccer Recap: Piedmont Classical Takes a Loss

Piedmont Classical lost against Triad Math and Science Academy on October 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats came up short against the Bengals, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Piedmont Classical can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while Triad Math and Science Academy are ranked 291st).

Piedmont Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4-3.

Piedmont Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, they will face off against The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Triad Math and Science Academy will be up against The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus' rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.63 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
