Basketball Recap: Central Florida Christian Academy Starts Season with Win Against Evans

Central Florida Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They claimed a resounding 50-11 victory over the Evans Trojans. The Eagles pushed the score to 41-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans had little chance of recovering from.

Leading Central Florida Christian Academy to victory were Makayla White and London Lowe. White dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 steals, while Lowe posted 14 points and eight steals. The dominant performance also gave Lowe a new career-high in boards (four). Another player making a difference was Ryleigh Tarplee, who put up six points and five steals.

Central Florida Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 37-24 win against Mainland on the 20th. As for Evans, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-13 defeat against Tohopekaliga on the 20th.
