Baseball Recap: Kewaskum's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kewaskum and West Bend East pushed the score to 12-8 the last time they played West Bend East, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Suns, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 12-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kewaskum saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Reichert, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Reichert has posted since back in April of 2024. Liam Stoffel was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The win was the third in a row for Kewaskum, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for West Bend East, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Kewaskum wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-5 win against New Holstein on the 12th.
