Baseball Recap: Boston College High's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boston College High). Everything went their way against the Malden Catholic Lancers on Wednesday as they made off with a 14-4 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lukas Stefan looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Jackson Richard was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Gustavo Bosques also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Boston College High always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Boston College High's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Malden Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
