Lexington Senior and West Stanly squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lexington Senior had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 24-22. The Yellowjackets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jaiden Summers threw for 209 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes. Ja'Hon Robinson was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards.

A big part of West Stanly's win came down to the chemistry between Hudson Snider and his top target Dominik Danzy. Snider threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns while Danzy picked up 111 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Danzy a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

Lexington Senior's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for West Stanly, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Lexington Senior does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Stanly, they will take on Burns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine games.
