Hometown Heroes: 2015 NBA players on teams in their home state

LeBron James isn't the only one who came home.

Derrick Williams, Klay Thompson and Justin Holiday all play for NBA teams in California - the same state where they played high school ball.

It's officially been an entire NBA season since LeBron James announced he was "coming home" for a second term with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Despite early struggles, the Cavs locked up the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and are now the favorite to win the title.

So it's fair to say that coming home has worked out pretty well for LeBron, but what about the rest of the NBA? We took a look at rosters and figured out which NBA teams have players who went to high school in the same state.

Some highlights:

- No Texas teams (Rockets, Mavericks, Spurs) have any players from Texas on the roster.

- The Toronto Raptors have no players from Canada on the roster, but the Minnesota Timberwolves have two (Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett - both also went to high school in the U.S.).

- The Grizzlies' Marc Gasol came to Memphis from Spain for high school while his older brother, Pau, was also playing for the Grizzlies.

**Rosters from NBA.com, accurate as of April 8. For New York teams, high schools from the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) were included.
