Basketball Game Preview: Aquinas Knights vs. Harding Raiders

The Aquinas Knights will head out on the road to take on the Harding Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Aquinas came up short against John F. Kennedy Catholic and fell 55-42. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Harding had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 62-51 victory over the Cowboys. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Cowboys are ranked 147th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Harding's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. As for Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Aquinas came up short against Harding when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 55-48. Can Aquinas avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
