Dixon hadn't done well against Heide Trask recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 46-37 win over the Titans. The Bulldogs' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Dixon was led to victory by Lily Borden and Kailei Dawsey. Borden shot 58% from beyond the arc on her way to 30 points and six steals, while Dawsey posted eight points along with eight boards and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Borden has scored at least a third of the Bulldogs' points. Another player making a difference was Leah Parker, who had two points in addition to 14 rebounds and three blocks.

Dixon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.

Dixon's record now sits at 3-0. As for Heide Trask, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
