Volleyball Recap: Shelby Comes Up Short

Shelby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Burns Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-8.

Jordan Walker was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and two aces.

Shelby's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Burns, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Shelby nor Burns have any future games scheduled.
