The Big Spring Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Waynesboro Indians at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Big Spring is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.

Big Spring made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Perry, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Big Spring was the clear victor by a 15-3 margin over West Perry on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Sydney Adler, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kendall Boring-Gutshall, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Adler wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Big Spring kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Waynesboro didn't have quite enough to beat Boiling Springs on Monday and fell 5-4. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waynesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Big Spring, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Big Spring couldn't quite finish off Waynesboro in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 and fell 7-5. Can Big Spring avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
