Baseball Game Preview: Taylorsville Warriors vs. Arbor View Aggies

The Taylorsville Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Arbor View Aggies at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Taylorsville is looking for their season's first win.

Taylorsville saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came up short against Pleasant Grove, falling 11-1.

Taylorsville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Woolley, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Arbor View faced Bishop Gorman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Arbor View fell 13-10 to Bishop Gorman.

Devin Martin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Michael Reed also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Arbor View suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Taylorsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Taylorsville's way against Arbor View in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, as Taylorsville made off with a 14-4 victory. Does Taylorsville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arbor View turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
