Hedley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the McLean Tigers 52-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 47-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

McLean found their leader in underclassman Stran Henderson, who rushed for 192 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. Those 192 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Henderson. Wyatt Hagler also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Hedley's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for McLean, their record now sits at 3-4.

Hedley will be playing at home against Patton Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hedley is facing Patton Springs at the right time seeing as Patton Springs is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for McLean, they will venture away from home to take on Paducah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paducah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully McLean likes a good challenge.
