Baseball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Atlantic Collegiate Academy hit Marion with a seven-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Swamp Foxes came up short against the Armada, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Armada this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Marion and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Marion will take on Latta at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, they have already played their next game, a 9-5 victory against Flint Hill on the 25th.
