Basketball Recap: Staples Wreckers vs. Newtown Nighthawks
Staples won the last time they faced Newtown and things went their way on Monday too. The Staples Wreckers were the clear victor by a 75-52 margin over the Newtown Nighthawks. The Wreckers pushed the score to 63-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Nighthawks cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading Staples to victory were Sam Clachko and Adam Udell. Clachko went 9 of 17 on his way to 26 points and three steals, while Udell went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight assists and five steals.
