Volleyball Recap: Bear River Wins Going Away Against Tooele

Bear River won the last time they faced Tooele and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-14.

Emry Evans paced Bear River's offense, picking up seven kills. Evans got some help from Brynlee Garn and her 15 assists. Finally, Caycee Crowther kept Bear River's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Bear River's record is now 7-8. As for Tooele, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-19.

Coming up, Bear River will take on Fremont in a tournament on Friday. As for Tooele, they will be playing at home against Sky View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
