Soccer Recap: Turner Ashby Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Turner Ashby won the last time they faced Spotswood and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Trailblazers 2-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 11, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Samuel Hildebrandt and Fredy 'Daniel' Hernandez scored both of Turner Ashby's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Turner Ashby's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five matches. As for Spotswood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turner Ashby will challenge Broadway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spotswood, they will take on East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
