Football Game Recap: Wilton vs. Sigourney-Keota

If Sigourney-Keota were expecting to get some payback for the 30-36 defeat against Wilton the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. Sigourney-Keota took a serious blow against Wilton on Friday, falling 0-35. The state rankings had actually given Sigourney-Keota a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The loss dropped Sigourney-Keota's record to 3-2. The win bumped Wilton's record up to 4-1.

Next week Sigourney-Keota take on Van Buren at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Wilton, they will face off against Wapello. Wapello took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Wilton's good fortune.
