Basketball Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short

Palmer lost against Wasilla back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Palmer Moose had to suffer through a 64-11 loss at the hands of the Wasilla Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Moose can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Warriors are ranked first).

Palmer has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Wasilla, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Palmer has already played their next game (against West Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wasilla has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Chugiak.
