Lynchburg-Clay has gone 7-2 against North Adams recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will host the Green Devils at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Lynchburg-Clay's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while North Adams has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

North Adams' hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Thursday: Lynchburg-Clay hadn't allowed a single run the last five times they've hit the field. The Mustangs never let Chillicothe get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Wednesday.

Not much got past Cole Wells, who gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Chillicothe off the board. Wells has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Quin Wells, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Tanner Roberts, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Valley hit North Adams with a five-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Green Devils lost 11-1 to the Indians.

North Adams' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lynchburg-Clay, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.
