Basketball Recap: Arcadia/Loup City's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Arcadia/Loup City won the last time they faced South Loup, and Eva Jaixen did her part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels' way against South Loup on Tuesday as the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels made off with a 37-17 win thanks in part to Jaixen, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 18 points along with eight boards and six steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Lueck, who posted four points and five steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Arcadia/Loup City's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5. As for South Loup, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Arcadia/Loup City will head out on the road to face off against Ravenna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arcadia/Loup City is facing Ravenna at the right time seeing as Ravenna is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Loup, they will host Ansley/Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
