Soccer Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin was the 3-0 winner over Streamwood when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Maroons came up short against the Sabres on Thursday, falling 5-1. Elgin were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Elgin now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Streamwood, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Elgin will take on Crystal Lake South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Streamwood, they will face off against Round Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
