Soccer Recap: Sullivan East Takes a Loss

Sullivan East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Unicoi County Blue Devils. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Sullivan East couldn't quite close it out.

Sullivan East's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Unicoi County, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.

Coming up, Sullivan East will be playing in front of their home fans against David Crockett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. David Crockett will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last. As for Unicoi County, they are taking a road trip to take on Elizabethton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
