Baseball Game Preview: East Wake Warriors vs. Person Rockets

The East Wake Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Person Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Thursday, East Wake didn't have quite enough to beat South Johnston and fell 4-2. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Person came up short against Southern Alamance on Tuesday and fell 12-8.

Brennen Kiser made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. EJ Palmer also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Person's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for East Wake, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
