Basketball Recap: West Starts off Right with Win over Hayward + How To Watch

West gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 61-48 victory over the Hayward Farmers. That's more bragging rights for the Wolfpack, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hayward dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

West will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Hayward, they will venture away from home to square off against Granada on Friday.
