Volleyball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Taft and Mission Vista squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Taft had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to Mission Vista. The Toreadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Taft was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-18.

Mission Vista's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Raquel Perez, who had 15 digs and three assists. Perez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 35-15. As for Mission Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-11 record this season.

Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mission Vista, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Ontario Christian on the 13th.
