Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Chargers vs. Fort Davis Indians

Trinity is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Fort Davis a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Trinity Chargers will look to defend their home court against the Fort Davis Indians at 6:00 p.m. Fort Davis took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Trinity, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Trinity sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Midland Classical Academy.

Trinity had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-15, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Fort Davis came up short against Alpine on Saturday, falling 3-0.

While Fort Davis had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-19.

Fort Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-2.
