Volleyball Recap: Canyon's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

Canyon hadn't done well against Randall recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Canyon walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Leading Canyon to victory were Aiva Kerr and Laney Jones. Kerr had 19 digs and three assists, while Jones had 19 kills and 18 digs. Jones has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more kills the last 13 times she's played.

Canyon's record now sits at 19-14. As for Randall, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Canyon will take on rival Dumas at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Randall is set to square off against their familiar foe West Plains at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
