Basketball Game Preview: Chadwick Dolphins vs. Peninsula Panthers

Chadwick is 0-3 against Peninsula since December of 2014 but things could change on Monday. The Chadwick Dolphins will look to defend their home court against the Peninsula Panthers at 3:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Chadwick ended up a good deal behind Rio Hondo Prep and lost 53-36. The Dolphins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Peninsula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Redondo Union and fell 62-35. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Sea Hawks are ranked 65th).

Peninsula's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Chadwick, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Chadwick might still be hurting after the 58-36 defeat they got from Peninsula when the teams last played back in December of 2019. Can Chadwick avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
