Basketball Game Preview: Moberly Spartans vs. Hallsville Indians

Moberly is 2-7 against Hallsville since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Moberly Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Hallsville Indians at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Moberly didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They rang in the new year with a 57-48 victory over Centralia on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hallsville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They breezed by the Thunderbirds to the tune of 70-29. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Moberly's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hallsville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
