Basketball Recap: Garner Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Garner unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Apex Friendship Patriots by a score of 72-70 on Tuesday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March.

Apex Friendship has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Garner will challenge Washington at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Apex Friendship, they will host East Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
