Jackson Prep had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Silliman Institute Wildcats as they made off with a 12-4 victory. Considering the Patriots have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sam Miller tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has become a key player for Jackson Prep: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 13-15 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Kamron Roberts was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Davidson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Jackson Prep's win bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Silliman Institute, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

Jackson Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against Silliman Institute: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
