Basketball Recap: Wasatch Wins Going Away Against Bonneville

On Friday, the stars were shining brightly for the Wasatch Wasps in a 62-46 victory over the Bonneville Lakers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wasps.

Bonneville's loss came despite strong showings from Ben Tesch and Bryson Landis. Tesch dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Landis posted eight points in addition to ten rebounds and five blocks. That's the most points Tesch has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Call, who had eight points.

Wasatch is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Bonneville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Wasatch will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd. As for Bonneville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-61 loss against Fremont on the 27th.
