Apple Valley won the last time they faced Granite Hills, and Cy Ziske did his part to make sure it happened again. The Apple Valley Sun Devils skirted past the Granite Hills Cougars 67-64 thanks in part to Ziske, who posted 24 points. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Apple Valley back to even at 4-4. As for Granite Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apple Valley will venture away from home to face off against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Apple Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Northview likes a good challenge. As for Granite Hills, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Granite Hills Cougars face off against the Corona Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
