Preview: Alta Hawks vs. Park City Miners
The Alta Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Park City Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alta has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three matchups.
Last Tuesday, Alta really took it to Granger for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-14 victory at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-2.
Alta can attribute much of their success to Fuifuilupe Niumeitolu, who scored 24 points. The contest was Niumeitolu's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aolele Liavaa, who scored 9 points.
Meanwhile, Park City came up short against Orem on Tuesday and fell 38-30. Park City has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alta now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Park City, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
