Baseball Recap: Ludlowe Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Ludlowe and St. Joseph, and St. Joseph kept the tradition alive. The Falcons lost 10-2 to the Cadets on Thursday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cadets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Ludlowe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leo Hood, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Ludlowe's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for St. Joseph, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ludlowe will challenge rival Ridgefield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph is set to square off against their familiar foe Westhill at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
