Basketball Recap: Eastbrook Academy Takes a Loss

Eastbrook Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 72-31 loss at the hands of Chesterton Academy. Eastbrook Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Chesterton Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Eastbrook Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Chesterton Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Eastbrook Academy will face off against University Lake/Trinity Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastbrook Academy is facing University Lake/Trinity Academy at the right time seeing as University Lake/Trinity Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Chesterton Academy, they will welcome St. Lawrence Seminary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
