Football Recap: Campolindo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Campolindo can now relate to. They fell 21-17 to the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Ugly Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Jhadis Luckey was his usual excellent self, rushing for 127 yards and a pair of scores for Clayton Valley Charter. Luckey also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Ugly Eagles are 5-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.

Campolindo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Clayton Valley Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Campolindo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they will square off against Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Luckey and Henry Lasker.
